openbox software package provides standards-compliant, fast, light-weight and extensible window manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openbox
openbox is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openbox package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openbox *
You will get with openbox package name, version, architecture and description in a table
